Meet the Editor:

Steve Kirk, M Div, CNHA, FACHCA, is a healthcare consultant, writer/trainer, licensed nursing home administrator and a Certified Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Administrators. He has almost 20 year’s experience directing large skilled nursing facilities and has been awarded that industry’s top award for quality four times, including the first award at the Step II in Georgia . Rev. Kirk has also served as an examiner for the Georgia Oglethorpe Award Program, an affiliate of the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. He has authored numerous articles on quality outcome management, business processes in the skilled nursing home sector, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction and ethics. Steve also serves as a subject matter expert for many internet-based e-learning courses and is an Adjunct University Professor in Bible, Ethics and Family Ministry. An ordained minister, Rev. Kirk is married with two grown sons and lives in Northern Kentucky.
His hobbies include fishing, cooking, computers and University of Louisville Football and Basketball.
